Early Life and Education

Yash was born Naveen Kumar Gowda on January 8, 1986, in Bhuvanahalli, Hassan District, Karnataka, India. He is the son of Arun Kumar J., a bus driver, and Pushpa Lata. Yash has a younger sister named Nandini.

Yash completed his pre-university course (PUC) at the Mahajana Education Society (MES) and joined the Benaka drama troupe after graduation.

Acting Career

Yash made his acting debut in the Kannada television serial “Uttarayana” in 2004. He then appeared in a few more television serials before making his film debut in the Kannada film ” Jambada Hudugi” in 2007.

Yash’s breakthrough role came in the 2010 Kannada film “Mungaru Male”. The film was a huge success and Yash was praised for his performance. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Kannada for his performance in the film.

Yash has since starred in several successful Kannada films, including “Ranna” (2014), “KGF: Chapter 1” (2018), and “KGF: Chapter 2” (2022). He is one of the most popular actors in Kannada cinema.

Personal Life
